I am passionate about ensuring that every child has access to a high-quality education, regardless of background or circumstance. With nearly eight years of experience as a school governor, I have been dedicated to strong governance, effective school and Trust leadership, and ensuring that all learners have a suitable pathway beyond school. I am particularly passionate about apprenticeships and alternative routes into employment, believing that every young person should have access to opportunities that align with their strengths and aspirations.

As a CIO and Founding Director of a Digital Transformation Consultancy, I have worked closely with Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs) to strengthen governance, improve operational efficiencies, and enhance the use of data to support informed decision-making. My experience includes advising on IT service models, digital inclusion, and cybersecurity, but at the heart of my work is a belief that technology should be an enabler—not a barrier—to equity in education.

Beyond my professional expertise, I bring a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the education sector. I have chaired panels on sector-wide issues, engaged in thought leadership discussions on digital communication and collaboration, and supported MATs in aligning their strategies with their core educational values.

I am keen to contribute as a trustee to help shape a trust’s vision, ensure strong governance, and advocate for every child’s right to an excellent education. While my professional background equips me with valuable skills, my motivation for this role is rooted in a fundamental belief in fairness, inclusion, and the power of education to transform lives.
