Charlie Guthrie

Mr Charlie Guthrie became CEO of Endeavour MAT in September 2021. Prior to that he spent four years as Head Teacher at Wilmington Grammar School for Boys. He has held senior leadership positions in a range of schools, including comprehensive, non-selective and an international school in Italy. He has also worked as a lead teacher in a London Borough and an educational consultant and brings a wealth of experience to the Trust . He believes passionately that every child deserves the very best from their education, both academically and from the range of extra-curricular opportunities that a school can provide. In his spare time, he is a keen runner, and having three sons also keeps him fit. He enjoys walking his dog by the sea. He supports Crystal Palace FC and is always ready to play for them, should the call come!
