Stone Lodge Sixth Form

Stone Lodge School has rapidly become the most oversubscribed non-selective school in North West Kent. It has amazing leaders and fantastic subject teachers who are passionate about developing the skills and educational outcomes for all the children in their care. It has not been open long enough to have its home grown sixth form as the oldest age of students in the school currently is Year 10. The brand new, multi million-pound school site offers state of the art facilities and equipment as well as a purpose built Sixth Form area. The SL6 leaders and teaching staff who are participating in the sixth form programme are specialists in their field and have experience of delivering courses and assessing student work at post 16 level. They are able to draw on the considerable expertise of the other schools within our Trust, such as Wilmington Grammar School for Boys, who have a long and proud history in producing Engineers and Wilmington Grammar School for Girls, who have a reputation for encouraging women in STEM subjects, smashing stereotypes and both schools have a variety of sponsor businesses who encourage our students to accept degree level apprenticeships in a variety of sectors.

As part of EMAT our SL6 students benefit from the extensive elective and extra-curricular range of opportunities offered by WG6.
